Arts on the Green is partnering with singer/songwriter and choral composer Lea Morris and our long-term collaborator Ryan O’Riordan to bring you a jam-packed day of workshop singing and a concert performance, across our two venues in Hackney and Islington.
About Lea Morris: a singer/songwriter and choral composer whose accessible, uplifting songs draw rhythmic and thematic inspiration from her upbringing in the southern Baptist church of the US – without being remotely religious. She has a gift for excavating the spiritual from within the mundane and bringing joy wherever she shares her music. Find out more: www.thisislea.com
Join either all day and evening for the workshop and concert (and then perform the songs you’ve learned at the concert!), or come along in the evening for the concert simply to watch the group perform.
